“The People” have had enough apparently!
It seems that “money” (as usual) has blinded doctors and medical practitioners to the degree that they are now willingly *suppressing* the truth regarding diabetes – its control, management, and even its cure!
That’s right: I said it …“cure!”
And this should shock you even more:
It seems that it’s against the law to say the word “cure” when describing anything that actually cures you.
Yet it’s very much okay to say that something “treats” or helps “offset” the symptoms of some health condition or disease.
But if you say “diabetes cure” (and even including when you, in fact, have a real and bona fide cure for something and can even prove it!) you can get arrested.
Ever wonder why no one ever talks about “diabetes cure”?
Everyone seems to be content with finding ways to “control diabetes” or “live with diabetes”. And for good reason.
It’s simply because no one’s out to “cure” anyone because there’s little money in doing so.

Instead, keeping you sick and marginally pain-free is all anyone’s really out to do for you these days – as doing so means you being “forced” to buy all the same drugs over and over again, and again, and … (you get the point!)

Listen, if somebody showed you how to cure diabetes… they wouldn’t make very much money off of you. Right? But if somebody invents a pill or a shot that helps you live with diabetes… they’ll get your money week-after-week, month-after-month, year-after-year until the day you die. Make sense?

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to have to depend on some big drug company to keep me alive and comfortable just so I can give them more of my hard-earned money every month.
I’d much rather take control of my own health and find a way to banish diabetes.
Now a number of doctors, medical scientists, and researchers armed with “real answers” and “real solutions” are stepping up and are NOT afraid of “Uncle Big-Bully Brother!”
One courageous fellow by the name of Matt Traverso is doing exactly this!
Not only that, but Matt Traverso has lectured and personally helped individuals beat the disease to the point that proven sufferers have actually gotten re-diagnosed as “no longer having the disease at all!”

But why don’t we hear about this information from the American Diabetes Association?
The truth is, the American Diabetes Association is benefiting hugely from the current trend in diabetes. They are funded by pharmaceutical companies who would lose out if people reversed their diabetic conditions.
With that kind of money at stake Big Pharma is going to extreme lengths to silence information about natural cures and alternatives for treating diabetes.
Therefore it’s not certain how long Matt will be allowed to do this because “Uncle Sambo” has actually started using “Gestapo” tactics whereby people and businesses truly offering a diabetes cure have been raided with masked armed police who even go to the point of forcing customers in the stores to get down on the floor at gunpoint!

Carbohydrates give your body the energy or fuel, it needs to function properly.
There are two types of carbohydrates; simple and complex.
Simple carbohydrates are in foods such as fruit sugar, corn or grape sugar, and table sugar.
They are single-sugar molecules.
Complex carbohydrates are foods that contain three or more linked sugars.

A Personal Experience of a Diabetes Cure
I am a diabetic type 2 and, at the moment, I control my blood sugars through tablets and diet.
Blood glucose control is extremely important for any diabetic – it is the only way of minimizing future health complications; heart disease; neuropathy resulting in amputations; kidney disease and early death.
Four years ago my A1C sugar levels were starting to get out of control – they weren’t massively high but were creeping up.
My Doctor increased my medication – with no real satisfactory results, my blood sugars were all over the place; I could go from a high reading at night and be woken by a hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) in the early hours.
Then I discovered the Atkins diet and, because I wanted to lose weight, I started to follow the low carbohydrate, high protein menus.
That’s when I discovered the real connection between complex carbohydrates, high blood sugars, and my diabetes. Suddenly my blood sugars stabilized and it was because I was no longer piling in huge amounts of carbohydrates, which were pushing my blood sugars far too high.
This seemed to fly in the face of conventional advice on the right diets – complex carbohydrate-rich – for diabetes.
You see, I already understood I had to avoid sweet, sugary food – these contained simple carbohydrates.
I hadn’t realized that the more complex carbohydrate of bread, potato, and cereals affected my blood sugars as well.
But (there’s always a ‘but’ isn’t there?) the Atkins diet did not really suit me.
I had constant diarrhea which was stressful and debilitating. So I came off that diet after 3-4 months and, of course, my blood sugars began to get out of control again.
But now I knew about the connection, all I needed to do was find the right program for me that followed the low carbohydrate principle.
And just recently, whilst doing research for my diabetes website, I discovered a program that suits me, and which I describe in more detail on my website for diabetics.
My advice to any diabetic and pre-diabetic, do your research!
Understand the close connection between the complex carbohydrates you eat, how they affect your blood sugars and how it can make it difficult to control your diabetes.
Once you understand that link, look for a diet or system that you can adapt to safely bring your blood sugars back under control.
Remember, too many carbohydrates (complex or simple) give you high blood sugar levels and if you have diabetes it means your body cannot cope with the additional overload.
Diabetes Symptoms, Causes & Diabetes Treatment
Diabetes mellitus is a nutritional disorder, characterized by an abnormally elevated level of blood glucose and by the excretion of the excess glucose in the urine.
It results from an absolute or relative lack of insulin which leads to abnormalities in carbohydrate metabolism as well as in the metabolism of protein and fat.
Diabetes is a disease known to the medical world since time immemorial.
Its incidence is, however, much higher at present than ever in the past.
This is especially true in case of more advanced countries of the world due to widespread affluence and more generous food supply.
The most commonly used screening tests are the determination of the fasting blood glucose level and the two-hour postprandial, that is after a meal.
The normal fasting blood sugar content is 80 to 120 mg. per 100 ml. of blood and this can go up to a level of 180 mg. per 100 ml. of blood two hours after meals.
Anything above these norms can be termed diabetic levels.
Diabetes occurs in all age groups, from young infants to the elderly.
The greatest incidence occurs in middle or older aged persons.
It is estimated that 80 to 85 percent of all individuals with diabetes mellitus are 45 years of age or older.
The word diabetes is derived from the Greek word meaning “to siphon to pass through”, and diabetes mellitus comes from the Latin word “honey”.
Thus two characteristic symptoms, namely, copious urination and glucose in the urine give the name to the disease. The normal volume of urine passed daily is about one and a half liters.
The urine is of a pale color, has an acidic reaction and sweetish odor.
The quantity of sugar present in it varies from one-and-quarter decigram to two-and-a-half grams the total per day in many cases reaching as much as one kg in 15 liters of urine.
A diabetic feels hungry and thirsty most of the time, does not put on weight, though he eats every now and then, and gets tired easily, both physically and mentally.
He looks pale, may suffer from anemia, constipation, intense itching around the genital organs, palpitations, and general weakness. He feels drowsy and has a lower sex urge than a normal person.
Diabetes has been described by most biological doctors as a “prosperity” disease, primarily caused by systematic overeating and consequent obesity.
Not only the overeating of sugar and refined carbohydrate but also of proteins and fats, which are transformed into sugar if taken in excess, is harmful and may result in diabetes.
Too much food taxes the pancreas and eventually paralyzes its normal activity.
It has been estimated that the incidence of diabetes is four times higher in persons of moderate obesity and 30 times higher in persons of severe obesity. Grief, worry, and anxiety also have a deep influence on the metabolism and may cause sugar to appear in the urine. The disease may be associated with some other grave organic disorders like cancer, tuberculosis, and cerebral disease.
Heredity is also a major factor in the development of the disease. It has been rightly said, ” Heredity is like a cannon and obesity pulls the trigger.”
Diabetes Cure & Treatment
Any successful method of diabetes cure should aim at removal of the actual cause of the disease and building up of the whole health-level of the patient.
Diet plays a vital role in such a diabetes cure.
The primary dietary consideration for a diabetic patient is that he should be a strict Lacto-vegetarian and take a low-calorie, low-fat, alkaline diet of high-quality natural foods.
Fruits, nuts and vegetables, wholemeal bread, and dairy products form a good diet for the diabetic.
These foods are best eaten in as dry a condition as possible to ensure thorough salivation during the first part of the process of digestion.
Cooked starchy foods should be avoided as in the process of cooking the cellulose envelops of the starch granules burst and consequently, the starch is far too easily absorbed in the system.
The excess absorbed has to be got rid of by the kidneys and appears as sugar in the urine. With raw starchy foods, however, the saliva and digestive juices in the small intestine regulate the quantities required to be changed into sugar for the body’s needs. The unused and undigested portion of raw starchy foods does not become injurious to the system, as it does not readily ferment.
The diabetic should not be afraid to eat fresh fruits and vegetables which contain sugar and starch.
Fresh fruits contain sugar fructose, which does not need insulin for its metabolism and is well tolerated by diabetics.
Fats and oils should be taken sparingly, for they are apt to lower the tolerance for proteins and starches.
Emphasis should be on raw foods as they stimulate and increase insulin production.
For protein, homemade cottage cheese, various forms of soured milk and nuts are best.
The patient should avoid overeating and take four or five small meals a day rather than three large ones. The following diet should serve as a guideline.
Upon arising: A glass of lukewarm water with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Breakfast: Any fresh fruit with the exception of bananas, soaked prunes, a small quantity of wholemeal bread with butter, and fresh milk.
Lunch: Steamed or lightly cooked green vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, tomatoes, spinach, turnip, asparagus, and mushrooms, two or three whole wheat chapatis according to appetite, and a glass of butter-milk or curd.
Mid-afternoon: A glass of fresh fruit or vegetable juice.
Dinner: A large bowl of salad made up of all the raw vegetables in season. The salad may be followed by a hot course if desired, and fresh home-made cottage cheese.
Bedtime Snack: A glass of fresh milk.
Flesh foods find no place in this regimen, for they increase the toxaemic condition underlying the diabetic state and reduce sugar tolerance. On the other hand, a non-stimulating vegetarian diet, especially one made up of raw foods, promotes and increases sugar tolerance. Celery, cucumbers, string beans, onion, and garlic are especially beneficial.
String bean pod tea is an excellent natural substitute for insulin and highly beneficial in diabetes.
The skin of the pods of green beans is extremely rich in silica and certain hormone substances which are closely related to insulin.
One cup of string bean tea is equal to one unit of insulin. Cucumbers contain a hormone needed by the cells of the pancreas for producing insulin.
Onion and garlic have proved beneficial in reducing blood sugar in diabetes.
Recent scientific investigations have established that bitter gourd (karela) is highly beneficial in the diabetes cure.
It contains an insulin-like principle, known as plant-insulin which has been found effective in lowering blood and urine sugar levels. It should, therefore, be included liberally in the diet of the diabetic.
For better results, the diabetic should take the juice of about 4 or 5 fruits every morning on an empty stomach.
The seeds of bitter gourd can be added to food in a powdered form.
Diabetics can also use bitter gourd in the form of decoction by boiling the pieces in water or in the form of dry powder.
Another effective home remedy is jambul fruit known as jamun in the vernacular.
It is regarded in traditional medicine as a specific against diabetes because of its effect on the pancreas.
The fruits as such, the seeds, and fruit juice are all useful in the diabetes cure.
The seeds contain a glucoside ‘jamboline’ which is believed to have the power to check the pathological conversion of starch into sugar in cases of increased production of glucose. They should be dried and powdered. This powder should be taken mixed in milk, curd, or water.
The patient should avoid tea, coffee, and cocoa because of their adverse influence on the digestive tract. Other foods which should be avoided are white bread, white flour products, sugar tinned fruits, sweets, chocolates, pastries, pies, puddings, refined cereals, and alcoholic drinks.
The most important nutrient in the diabetes cure is manganese which is vital in the production of natural insulin. It is found in citrus fruits, in the outer covering of nuts, grains, and in the green leaves of edible plants. Other nutrients of special value are zinc, B complex vitamins, and poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
Exercise is also an important factor in diabetes cure. Light games, jogging and swimming are recommended. Yogic asanas such as bhujangasana, shalabhasana, dhanurasana, paschimottanasana, sarvangasna, halasana, ardha-matsyendrasana and shavasana, yogic krisyas like jalneti and kunajl and pranayamas such as kapalbhati, anuloma-viloma and ujjai are highly beneficial.
Hydrotherapy and colonic irrigations form a very important part of the diabetes cure. The colon should be thoroughly cleansed every second day or so until the bowel discharge assumes normal characteristics.
Bathing in cold water greatly increases the circulation and enhances the capacity of the muscles to utilize sugar. The diabetic patient should eliminate minor worries from his daily life. He must endeavor to be more easy-going and should not get unduly worked up by the stress and strain of life.
Bone Hormone: A Startling Discovery For Diabetes Cure
A startling new discovery about a hormone released from the bone is significantly changing scientists’ understanding of diabetes and giving new clues about how to deal with the “Big D.” Considered to be the fifth leading killer of Americans, diabetes is a disease in which the body’s failure to regulate blood sugar (glucose) can lead to serious and even fatal complications.
The regulation of glucose entails the body’s monitoring of how much sugar is present in a person’s blood; how much is taken up by cells for fuel; and how much is released from energy stores.
These processes are performed by the pancreas, the liver, muscles, and fat. Other specific types of diabetes, which may account for 1% to 2% of all diagnosed cases, result from specific genetic syndromes, surgery, drugs, malnutrition, infections, and other illnesses.
However, new research suggests that the issue is even more complex than it seems to be. A hormone from the skeleton may influence how the body handles sugar. There is also increasing evidence that demonstrates that the signals from the immune system, the brain, and the gut play very important roles in controlling glucose and lipid metabolism.
These findings are mainly relevant to Type 2 diabetes, the more common kind, which comes during adulthood.
While it is true that having elevated blood sugar is the defining feature of diabetes, the reasons for abnormal sugar tend to be different from one individual to another. It is in understanding exactly what signals are involved that raises the hope of providing the right care for each person each day, rather than giving everyone the same drug.
When researchers from Columbia University Medical Center published the results last summer, scientists were astounded that a hormone released from the bone may help regulate blood glucose.
Lead researcher, Dr. Gerard Karsenty, first described the findings at a conference where the assembled scientists appeared to be overwhelmed by the potential implications of the study. It was the first time that the skeleton was actually seen as an endocrine organ, producing hormones that act outside of the bone.
In his previous work, he had shown that a hormone produced by fat, called leptin, is an important regulator of bone metabolism. In this work, he tested the idea that if fat regulates bone, bone-in essence must regulate fat. His experiment with mice revealed that a previously known substance called osteocalcin, which is produced by bone, acted by sending signals to the fat cells as well as the pancreas.
The net effect is to improve how mice secrete and handle insulin, the hormone that helps the body move glucose from the bloodstream into cells of the muscle and liver, where it can be used for energy or stored for future use. Insulin is also important in regulating lipids.
Patients with Type 2 diabetes no longer heed the hormone’s directives due to the cells’ resistance to insulin. Their blood glucose levels surge and the production of insulin in the pancreas declines as well. The experiment revealed an increase in osteocalcin which addressed the twin problems of insulin resistance and low insulin production.
The mice became more sensitive to insulin and it increased their insulin production, thus bringing their blood sugar down. As a bonus, it also made obese mice less fat.
Should osteocalcin works in humans as well, it can be considered as a “unique new treatment” for Type 2 diabetes. Most current diabetes drugs either raise insulin production or improve insulin sensitivity, but not both. Drugs that increase production tend to make insulin resistance worse. A deficiency in osteocalcin could also turn out to be a cause of Type 2 diabetes.
The immune system is considered to be another cause of glucose regulation. In 2003, researchers from two laboratories found that fat tissue from obese mice contained an abnormally large number of macrophages, immune cells that contribute to inflammation.
Scientists have long suspected that inflammation was somehow related to insulin resistance, which precedes nearly all cases of Type 2 diabetes. In the early 1900s, diabetics were sometimes given high doses of aspirin, which is an anti-inflammatory. Only in the past few years has research into the relationship of obesity, inflammation, and insulin resistance becomes a serious concern.
A number of researchers agree that obesity is accompanied by a state of chronic, low-grade inflammation in which some immune cells are activated, which may be a primary cause of insulin resistance. They also agree that the main type of cell responsible for the inflammation is the macrophage.
Should more research prove the initial findings to be true, there would be certainly greater hope of relief and diabetes cure everywhere.
Goji and Diabetes Cure
This can be devastating, as diabetes is the main cause of kidney failure, limb amputation, and new-onset blindness in American adults.
People with diabetes are also two to four times more likely than people without diabetes to develop heart disease. In fact, 65 percent of diabetics die from a heart attack or stroke.

In diabetes, either the pancreas may produce insufficient insulin, or the body has lost its ability to use it effectively (insulin resistance). Glucose builds up in the blood, overflows into the urine, and passes out of the body without fulfilling its role as the body’s main source of fuel.
Two types of diabetes
Type 1 diabetes develops if the body is unable to produce any insulin. This type of diabetes usually appears before the age of 40. It is treated by insulin injections and diet and regular exercise is recommended.
Type 2 diabetes develops when the body can still make some insulin, but not enough, or when the insulin that is produced does not work properly (known as insulin resistance).
In most cases, this is linked with being overweight. This type of diabetes usually appears in people over the age of 40, though in South Asian and African-Caribbean people often appear after the age of 25. However, recently, more children are being diagnosed with the condition, some as young as seven.
Type 2 diabetes cure involves lifestyle changes such as a healthier diet, weight loss, and increased physical activity. Tablets and/or insulin may also be required to achieve normal blood glucose levels.
The main aim of both types of diabetes cure is to achieve blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol levels as near to normal as possible. The National Diabetes Education Program suggests that you reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke by working with your health care team to monitor three critical factors, which they have named the Diabetic ABCs.
“A” is for the A1C test.
This is a number that shows how well your blood glucose has been controlled over the last 3 months. Bad glucose control can hurt your eyes, kidneys, and feet. The goal for most people is an A1C of less than 7. It should be checked at least twice a year.
A 1998 research study showed that increased blood pressure could be prevented significantly by goji’s master molecule polysaccharides.
Polysaccharides are very long-chain sugar molecules that provide nourishment for macrophages, the large white blood cells which are an important component of the body’s defense system against invading microbes, and the malignant cells which form tumors.
Four polysaccharides discovered in Goji berries have not been found in any other fruit. The Goji polysaccharides enhance the body’s production of human growth hormone (HGH), which helps build muscle and repair skin cells.
